Privacy policy

We do not require registration and do not collect visitors’ names, phone numbers or addresses. The site publishes car data from public Copart and IAAI auction sources: VIN, specifications, photos, damage and sale results.

Technical data: the server logs the IP address, page address and request time to protect against abuse and to find errors. Logs are kept for a limited time.

Analytics: if Google Analytics or Yandex Metrica is enabled, it uses cookies for anonymous visit statistics. The site stores only your chosen theme and catalog view in the browser.

Car pages: a car owner can ask us to hide the page of their car — write to us (see Contacts) with the VIN. After verification the page will no longer be shown and will disappear from search.

This is a draft; the final version will be published before paid services launch.

CarBids is an independent service. We are not affiliated with Copart, Inc. or IAA, Inc. (Insurance Auto Auctions) and do not represent them. Auction names and car makes are trademarks of their owners.
